Our Research on Fluidic Stresses and Bacterial Virulence Published in Microfluidics and Nanofluidics

We are pleased to share that our latest research on the influence of fluidic stresses on bacterial virulence has been published in Microfluidics and Nanofluidics. The study demonstrates that the virulence of Klebsiella pneumoniae is governed more strongly by fluidic shear stresses than by nutrient availability, revealing the critical role of mechanical cues in bacterial behavior. These findings have important implications for the design of bioreactors, medical implants, and organ-on-a-chip systems.
