Hi, I’m Mradul Namdeo, currently working as a Project Associate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Science. My work lies at the intersection of AI and engineering, where I explore how machine learning and computer vision can be used to understand and solve real world problems. I am particularly interested in applying data driven approaches to complex systems, combining computational methods with engineering insights.
I joined Prof. Saptarshi Basu’s research group in July 2025. My current work focuses on using machine learning and computer vision techniques for practical engineering applications, with an emphasis on building models that are not just accurate, but also efficient and interpretable.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science from Jabalpur Engineering College of Engineering in 2025. Through my current role, I continue to develop and apply my skills in AI and computer vision, working on problems that connect theory with real world impact.​
