Introduction:​ I did my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from RSET, Guwahati followed by a masters in Energy from IIT Guwahati. I joined Prof. Basu’s group in January 2021 as a regular PhD student in the Mechanical Department. I have always been fascinated by the various domains of Fluid Mechanics. The beauty and complexity of fluid flow enthralls me. During my PhD, I will be exploring the physics of vortex rings and its interaction with porous surfaces. In my leisure time I like reading books, playing cricket and badminton.
